Having already produced the 75-Year History Book of Local 598 for its Diamond Anniversary five years earlier, UNION HISTORIES updated and added to the history to produce the 80-Year History Book for Local 598, which was chartered in 1944 in support of the Manhattan Project at the Hanford Site and the wartime national mission of the United States. Since that time, the local has proudly represented skilled union tradesmen and women in Eastern Washington/Northeast Oregon.

In addition to producing the full History Book for the local's 80th Anniversary Celebration Dinner-Dance on December 7, 2024, UNION HISTORIES also provided full Design Services for the event, produced a Video Slideshow of historic photos for the celebration, and generated funds for the local through sponsorship sales -- all at NO COST to the local!
