United Association Local 598, which as chartered in 1944 as a direct response in support of the Manhattan Project at the Hanford Site and the wartime national mission of the United States, has proudly represented skilled union tradesmen and women in Eastern Washington/Northeast Oregon for 75 years – and the local celebrated its landmark “Diamond” Anniversary with a special event on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
Union Histories produced a full History Book of Local 598’s 75-year history for the event, which was presented to all attendees and special guests. Union Histories also produced a video slideshow of historic photos for the celebration, and Union Histories generated funds for the local through sponsorship sales to help with costs of the event.
