Since 1936, Local 5 has been serving the “Heart of Appalachia” – and the local celebrated its Granite Jubilee 90th Charter Anniversary during its annual Local 5 Family Party on September 12, 2026, and with the production of a special Local 5 90-Year History Book produced by UNION HISTORIES.
UNION HISTORIES also provided a range of Design Services for the Local 5 event as well as the History Book ... all of which were provided at NO COST to the local as we sold Ads for the History Book and Sponsorships for the Celebration Event, while also earning funds for the local!
