I.B.E.W. Local No. 278’s skilled electrical workers have been serving Greater Corpus Christi since the local was chartered on April 24, 1926, and the local celebrated its 100th Anniversary with a Dinner-Dance Gala on April 25, 2026, and a special Local 278 Centennial History Program Book produced by UNION HISTORIES that was gifted to members and attendees.

UNION EVENTS provided Event Assistance Services and UNION HISTORIES created the History Book at NO COST to Local 278, as UNION HISTORIES sold Ads for the book and Sponsorships for the event while also earning funds for the local!
