The 100-year history of Sheet Metal Workers Local 206 of San Diego includes members building a portion of the Spirit of St. Louis airplane -- in which Charles Lindberg made the very first historic flight across the Atlantic Ocean.  Local 206 has been providing unmatched professional sheet-metal services for the Greater San Diego region since February 6, 1919, and celebrated the local’s 100th Anniversary with a special event on May 4, 2019, at the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa, which was FULLY MANAGED BY UNION EVENTS.

UNION EVENTS handled every aspect of the event, from start to finish, including venue, catering and entertainment arrangements — all at NO COST for UNION HISTORIES' services to the local!

UNION HISTORIES also produced a full History Book of Local 206’s 100-year history for the event, as well as a video slideshow, invitations, a logo and signage, and Union Histories also generated funds for the local through sponsorship sales.
