After a century of serving South Florida since being chartered on January 9, 1924, Elevator Constructors Local 71 celebrated its 100th Anniversary with a gala Dinner/Dance event on January 20, 2024, at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, which was fully managed by UNION EVENTS. To help commemorate the local's Centennial, UNION HISTORIES also created of a special 100th Anniversary History Book that chronicled and preserved the important story of Local 71.
